Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Castelnau

This place is such a hidden gem...easily top 10 in London! Fantastic food, brilliant service and attention to detail - a credit to the staff and owners. Visited on a busy Day and the food was just amazing - calamari, risotto seafood, perfect lamb chops and fillet steak followed by a great cheese board.

This is my favorite place for the fish and chips. The battered is so light and beautiful. The tartar sauce is done perfectly and I like to add a splash of malt vinegar with mine and a touch of lemon.

Great food, lovely staff. On the more expensive side when it comes to a Sunday roast but the quality of the food, the service, and dealing with the team before we arrived was really good, which made it worth it overall.

Need a civilized enclave away from the madness of the West End? If you stick to the set menu at Ham Yard, you'll get reasonable value too. Great staff, good food, gorgeous spacious setting. The drinks are rather overpriced though. There's a dry house white for £13.00 (which I didn't personally like) but anything other than that by the glass is upwards of £23. I think that's too steep, even in today's economy. I'd have liked a medium wine but was not prepared to pay £30 for one glass. Also, the set menu is advertised as being from 12pm to 6pm and 9pm to 10:30pm. We booked for 9.45 but initially were told the set menu wasn't available, although we did have it in the end. The staff were lovely about it, but it seemed a bit off. Having made those few criticisms, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as a haven from the madding crowd and with the most divine puddings, if your purse can take it....
