- PPaulSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 20, 2025Outstanding dinner experience that started with our waiter, Steven, who could sell ice to penguins in Antarctica. He professed Bentley’s to really have the best fish &Chips in London, swore his kids lives on it. He went on to recommend the fish pie and seafood stew as being the best in the UK, swore his wife’s live on it. Then highly recommend the lobster spaghetti, his dog. We tried all three (3) dishes as mains with the lobster spaghetti to share. All were spot on and delicious. Highly recommend this place for quality of food but also, high end attentive service. I will be back.More infoBentley's Oyster Bar & GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Mayfair•4.6
- MMelodieLondon •9 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 17, 2025Need a civilized enclave away from the madness of the West End? If you stick to the set menu at Ham Yard, you'll get reasonable value too. Great staff, good food, gorgeous spacious setting. The drinks are rather overpriced though. There's a dry house white for £13.00 (which I didn't personally like) but anything other than that by the glass is upwards of £23. I think that's too steep, even in today's economy. I'd have liked a medium wine but was not prepared to pay £30 for one glass. Also, the set menu is advertised as being from 12pm to 6pm and 9pm to 10:30pm. We booked for 9.45 but initially were told the set menu wasn't available, although we did have it in the end. The staff were lovely about it, but it seemed a bit off. Having made those few criticisms, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as a haven from the madding crowd and with the most divine puddings, if your purse can take it....More infoHam Yard Bar and RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Soho•4.5
