- JJudyNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis cozy spot on the lower east side is very trendy with its gem named cocktails and seasonal menus. It is clearly incredibly popular as tables turn over quickly and there is never an empty seat. The food comes quickly and is deeply flavorful. The menu consists of dishes that can be harder to find, even in a cultural hub like NYC. I do wonder if lunch service is a little less bustling as at times I found it difficult to hear my dinner partner. I also wish they would tell you about the QR code for the food menu as it is on a physical drinks menu and that’s a bit confusing. Overall I’m glad I made it to Soothr and look forward to trying their sister restaurant Sappe soon.More infoSoothrPrice: Expensive• Thai• East Village•4.7
- KKimVIPNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDined here last night with my best friend of over 40 years. We wanted something charming and festive for the holidays, with good food and a lovely ambience. We were extremely pleased and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty, the service above and beyond, (attentive and thoughtful, yet not intrusive), and the atmosphere glittering and perfect for the season. While it was packed, it still didn’t feel cramped, (we had plenty of room around us), and we could easily talk while all around us engaged in their happy times, too. We had the Tuna tartare appetizer, (REALLY good!) and the Havenly chicken, which was extremely delicious. I’d recommend both! All in all, a wonderful night and we will absolutely come back! - PPatriciaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThere were 10 of us & we had made reservations at 5 pm as we had 7 pm theater tickets. Our table was ready for us upon arrival & our waiter was friendly & on point from start to finish. Service was great without feeling rushed & his wine suggestion was perfect. The portions are huge so we started with the calamari & Caesar salad which was plenty for all of us & both very good. We chose 4 dishes, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Scaloppine, Rigatoni & Broccoli, & Penne alla Vodka & all were delicious. We all commnted that the Penne was the best we’d had as the sauce was not too heavy & perfectly spiced. Although we could have only ordered 3 dishes, we all enjoyed the variety of the 4 choices. We finished off with cappuccinos for the table & made it to the theater with 15 minutes to spare. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant & the bonus was it was very reasonable. Great job Carmine’s!!More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6

- SSallyNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024Solid work lunch. Tasty food, prompt and courteous service. Nice ambiance. Lively but not too loud. Any restaurant worth eating at is expensive these days. Expect $30 salads. lolMore infoZou Zou'sPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Hell's Kitchen•4.6
