Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Lilydale

On Saturday 30th November 2024 I went there with my Mum and Mandy. I had the 300gram Porterhouse Steak and Chips which was too fatty and grizzly so I didn't like it. Mum had the Pork Belly which was too dry because it had been cooked and reheated so she didn't hers either. Mandy had the Roast of the Day, which she really enjoyed.

Nice to see the menu have a few changes, a couple of nice new additions. The calamari was lovely and well received. Service excellent and friendly. A bit noisy with several Christmas work celebrations but ambience always good. Good to have the GF options.

The whole experience was memorable. The service was excellent and the food was unusual and well presented. Sitting under an umbrella out on the terrace looking out over the roses to acres of grapevines and the distant Yarra Ranges made me feel as if I was in Italy. Almost perfect!

I dined inside with a friend in the late morning. We received excellent service from our waitresses who were knowledgeable on dairy content in the drinks when I ordered lactose free hot chocolate. The food was delish, and beautifully presented. I loved how many of the dishes included Australian native flavours and ingredients. I will try a balcony table next time! 👌🏻

Good value, friendly staff, delicious food. Prompt service. Order the pork ribs early. Menu highlight was the brisket and the chocolate tart.
