Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Waltham

Sycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.

Overall dishes were very good. Chicken Milanese was excellent as was the lemon chicken and rigatoni was good too. Desserts were good- the sorbet and ricotta cake delicious. Large bottles of bottled water Pellegrino or aqua pana would have been good. Service was excellent!

Always enjoy our meals here - the food is consistently very good. The pork chop was divine. Our server last evening was very good, pleasant and friendly.

Cajun swordfish and scallops+shrimp were excellent as always. They've expanded their beer selection on tap to include some nice dark brews. Great for winter sipping. They were happy to customize our meals to accommodate our food preferences. Food is always served as soon as it is cooked.
