Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Granville Entertainment District

Outstanding and unpretentious service. Fabulously friendly and caring. The "Happy Days" menu certainly keeps the cost very reasonable, especially for this high a level of tasty dishes. Both pastas we had, "spicy vodka" and "bolo" (pork/beef ragu) were delicious. We took the bolo home for dinner and it heated up with no fuss nor muss. Microwaving it to reheat without any additions whatsoever and it was perfect!! The burger is fantastic, dripping with yummy sauce and melted American cheese. Fries cooked well and totally addictive. And the bang bang shrimp to start were cooked beautifully with a wonderful spice level and a fine textural crunch. We were happy campers and will be back to try the rest of the menu. 😁

"WOW" What a beautiful experience - inviting and exhilarating, starting with the friendly greeting, and ending with a friendly farewell, this restaurant does not disappoint. Having never experienced this style of Japanese cuisine, in my own words it's like "Japanese Soul Food". The bistro style atmosphere elevates the experience of the incredibly delicious and perfectly executed cuisine. This is by no means anything but amazing food. You just have to dive in and try things. Not one single plate disappointed and the delicious cocktails were a bonus. One time in particular, the Curry Poutine stood out because it is a beautiful example of natural fusion of Japanese and Canadian cuisine. I hesitate to use the word "fusion" but i'm not sure what else I'd call it other than a natural outcome of talented people making wonderful food representative of their own culture perfectly integrated with another one. Service was on point, every single member buzzing about like a colony of bees - you can kindly ask any one of them for anything! It's like walking into a family gathering. Bravo Guu Toramasa! Bravo Arigato Gozaimasu !

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Homer Street Café & Bar. We sat at the counter and had an amazing view of some wonderful chefs creating delicious food. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed three small plate items (tapas) and everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. Loved the wine as well. We will definitely be back when visiting Vancouver again and will recommend to friends visiting as well. Happy New Year!

Open later on Christmas eve and was pleased to be able to make a reservation within 20 minutes of the time I started looking. Was seated 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled reservation time and once we placed our order the food was delivered quickly, despite being very busy in there. Overall great experience.

Hys is always a fantastic meal. The cheesebread is so addictive. Open flame steak gives a perfect char. What made this night was the service. Our server was Andrew and he was amazing. Not just a great server, his recommendations for drinks/food were perfect. I've been to Hys a bunch of times but Andrew made this special.
