Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Chicago

Great Christmas themed bar they turned it into with amazing drinks! I will say the pudding shot was way stronger than expected and we also thought it was going to be a little thicker. Our waitress was great though!

Seafood options were first rate. Our oysters, branzino and scallops were as good as you can find in Chicago. For starters, our favorite is a Bellevue standard -- tuna tartare, spicy for some taste and calorie-ridden, and exceptionally satisfying! Its wine list, even by the glass, has splendid variety. My wife and I with a guest were there on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. The service was attentive as usual, prompt but not hurried, pleasant and professional. Portions were, ah, ample. Although one dines here for the quality and experience, not to save money, its value justifies the prices!

Everything was perfect. The corn dip appetizer I received was not hot all the way through mostly just around the edges. My burger and my son‘s burger and the truffle fries were delicious.

I was here a few years ago and remembered how fantastic it was, so I suggested it for a group lunch for some people coming out of town!

Food was great - our table agreed that the pizzas were all phenomenal. The dessert was so good that I didn’t even get to taste it (it was devoured so quickly). But more than anything, the kindness and understanding of the staff elevated the whole experience. Would 100% recommend - especially for large groups!
