The owners, Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez, along with executive chef Luigi Celentano, have kept Gigino flourishing in the ever-changing Tribeca neighborhood. Chef Celentano creates both the menu and wine list, with daily specials of seasonally fresh seafood, game and vegetables. Gigino prides itself on the fact that all their dishes are prepared to order and almost all their pastas and breads are house-made. Fresh fish specials are featured on the “specials blackboard” daily, and it’s safe to say they also have the best pizza in Tribeca! Dining at Gigino Trattoria is a pleasure every time!

    This was our favorite spot during our 5 day trip, our first to NYC. Our 3 kids (12, 8, 7) loved every bit of this experience - from the food to the vibe. Don’t miss this great spot, 12/10 and they’ve already asked to go back tomorrow!

    Food was excellent and plentiful, the 2-3 person guidance was definitely on the for people that eat a lot!! We ended up leaving half our meat. Side and cocktails were also excellent

    From the host to seated us to our waiter to the busboys, everyone made us feel completely at home and welcome. Service was excellent and our every need was anticipated. My T-bone for 1 exceeded my expectations and my companion’s Lobster bisque blew them away. The chocolate soufflé was the excellent conclusion to our evening (I endorse this for any chocolate lover). The wine list was comprehensive without being overwhelming, including excellent choices at every price point. We’re looking forward to coming back often and soon.
