Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Mission Beach

Takaramono was one of the best surprises I have had in San Diego. A hidden gem, small-hole in the wall sushi restaurant that is the perfect go-to for a special occasion. The service was personable and the food was remarkable. Overall, the experience dining here was memorable!

The food was all exceptionally good. Unfortunately, they were very under staffed and that showed in the poor service. I’d still recommend the place. Just hope everyone shows up for work!!

The host was very friendly. The decor was pleasant and the restaurant embraced theme around the bar and in the menu. We were seated in a cozy booth. Waitress was warm and welcomed us within a few minutes of getting seated. We ordered salmon potato latkes. It was a generous portion and very delicious. We also ordered apple pancakes and avocado toast which were also good. We will be back again.

Great place to catch a bite to eat with drinks before seeing a show at the Civic Center. Really appreciate the additional discount and it's a close walk. It can be quite loud in there though, and lots of hotel guests have kids which just screamed non-stop... Not the issue of the hotel though.

Absolutely Beautiful for Christmas Eve dinner!! Decorations were gorgeous, ambiance was intimate, festive, warm, cheerful. Food was delicious loved grilled oysters, bruschetta, fried short rib balls, steak was yummmy!! Drinks were great, and service was on point! Beautiful experience thank You La La!!
