Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Vienna

We had an outstanding dinner yesterday evening celebrating my fiancé’s birthday! Outstanding service with Margaret and phenomenal meal! We love Morton’s! We have dined at the Reston Monrton’s many times, and it is always spectacular! Lori Snyder, M.D.

The soup & salad combination was a nice light lunch. The chicken noodle soup special as well as the clam chowder were both excellent. Service was prompt and pleasant.

Oyster night! Half shell, fried … so good. Fish’n’chips, seafood Cobb salad, and steak tacos for the non-pescetarian. All thumbs up! As always the staff were friendly and quite competent. Pro tip: if ordering more than one course (eg, appetizer/entree) order them separately — there is no time-phasing by the kitchen — items come when ordered.

We greatly appreciated the consideration of the staff. The walk to our table for two, both of us elderly and using canes, was difficult. The young host was apologetic and, unbidden, took the price of our soft drinks off the bill. We waited a bit long for our meals, but to be fair, it appeared that many dinners arrived at once. The food, a smash burger, and the salmon en croute, was very good.

First time at the McLean Match Box, but a fan of the Mosaic and downtown DC locations for several years. My sister and I were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and seated in a booth as requested on my Open Table reservation. Our waiter was also very friendly and attentive without interrupting our conversation. We shared a simple salad, which was divided in the kitchen as requested. The pizza order of half one kind and half a different one came out at a good time and was delicious! We'll be back because we enjoy Match Box, we weren't rushed and it is great to have another Match Box closer to where I live.
