Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Astrodome

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Guard and Grace. This was our second time dining at the restaurant. Jose was our server and he was awesome. His customer service was second to none. The food was great, its was fresh and piping hot. As a bonus, Jose gave us warm chocolate cookies in lieu of dessert. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

Great food, excellent service and the best ambience. Fantastic place to meet with friends or for a special ocassion.

My sister and I had dinner at Grace’s, and it was such a great experience! We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were so crispy and flavorful—a great way to kick off the meal. And we were complimentary cornbread with a sweet butter (delicious by the way). For my main dish, I had the Cajun Stuffed Chicken, and it was amazing. I upgraded to the Crawfish Mac and Cheese (so worth it!) and swapped the collard greens for seasoned green beans. Shoutout to our server, who was super helpful and suggested those upgrades—she really made the meal extra special. The vibe at Grace’s is warm and cozy, like being at your grandmother’s house. The dress is casual, but going business casual would feel fitting for this location—it has that polished yet inviting atmosphere. The only small downside was that the table next to us was a bit loud, but honestly, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed everything else. My sister and I both left happy and full, and we’ll definitely be back!

Favorite restaurant/lounge … other than the food, what sets March apart from others is their level and quality of service. It’s a Michelin restaurant that is also warm and welcoming ( they treat customers incredibly well!), it’s part of what keeps me going back … quite a bit! The vibe in the lounge is lovely and cosy, even if you don’t have dinner, the lounge is just as good, and welcoming.

Beautiful bar with wonderful staff. They were lovely and very attentive to our needs. Drinks were a bit pricey but delicious so I couldn’t complain.
