The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

Although our building is over 225 years old we update our menu daily! Change is a good thing at the Greenfield. We specialize in next day delivery of seafood while we continue to cut our own steaks. Our patio and balcony over looking the bar is among our customers favorite requests for lunch and dinner seating, while the wine cellar has two of the most romantic tables in the area.     If you are looking for an excellent and inventive menu, Josephine's is the place. It isn't inexpensive but it is a delicious and lovely dining experience for those special occasions - or just because you deserve it! Our waiter was excellent. We all appreciated him sharing his observations and knowledge. The menu was excellent with plenty of variety - enough to please anyone. And the desserts were extraordinary both in deliciousness and in presentation.

    Our meal was fabulous, as is typical. Our waiter, Benjamin, and those supporting him, were outstanding. There were 9 people in our party from ages 4 to 71 and everyone agreed that this was our best meal there. Everyone went out of their way to seat us in a beautiful setting and meet our dietary needs to be sesame free in order to ensure the safety of one person in our party. Thank you for a memorable meal before a night at the Fulton Theater.
