Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Washington Park

This is our fourth time here and everything was outstanding. Our server Amanda was very professional and attentive. All of the Nigiri we ordered were much better than last time. The Kanpachi, Hamachi, and Kinmedai were delicious. The fish were cut thin this time. Please continue doing this since the slices were too thick during our previous visits. We also had breakfast here the morning after and the chef added a few Japanese style dishes. We ordered the Saba and Gyudon. They both came with a side of rice, miso soup, a sunny side up egg and salad.  I am so glad that Takato finally decided to do an Asian style breakfast. My compliments to the chef and team.

Perfect views of the water, ideal location, great customer service and flexibility. Went to celebrate a birthday and overall it was a wonderful experience.

The service and the food were really good. The outdoor seating was perfect. I would recommend this place for lunch, happy hour, and dinner

The Food was exceptional. The top 2 dishes at our table: Wednesday night Lasagna and the incredible unique chicken Parmigiano. The service was very good but food took a bit long to get to table (but the place was totally packed and buzzing - noise level was off the chart inside - outside was full but not as loud). Overall would highly recommend this place - we'll go back again for sure.

Jeff and the rest of the team make the best experience from delicious sushi that can’t be found anywhere else, to a friendly atmosphere that makes for a great time every time - highly recommend.
