Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Garland

The food is always very good at all of the Hudson House locations. However, the menu is rather limited if you are trying to eat healthy and lean. Service is solid but not outstanding. It's a nice neighborhood site for lunch or dinner.

Had pork dumplings and fried cauliflower for apps. Entree was sushi and steak, ravioli, crab cakes and filet mignon. Food was excellent. Service was outstanding! Love that you get a glass of champagne upon entry. The only complaint was portion size is a little light if you have a heavy eater or an athlete. It’s just enough for a normal eater. We didn’t have any to go containers and left full.

Very friendly and energetic vibes, music was at a reasonable volume to have a conversation! The style of service was amazing, with everyone stop by the table and great smiles all around! Makenna was amazing and happy she’s back (:

Jack and Harry’s continues to be one of our favorite spots for celebrations. The food is always phenomenal. The trout dip was great and so flavorful with the added hot sauce. If you’re remotely considering ordering the lemon sole, just do it. It was one of the best sole’s I’ve ever had. The pan fried breading was so thin and the fish so fresh, I can’t wait to have it again.

The mushrooms were great. The potatoes with the fish and chips were also great. The fish was good, not great. The cole slaw was mediocre at best. The service was perfect for the occasion
