- RRobertVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •80 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoBeautiful setting for Christmas Eve Dinner before Mass at St. Clare’s. Truly, it was tastefully decorated inside and felt like Christmas. The food was average to good. Originally from New York, I am used to delicious and savory Italian Food be it at home or at a restaurant. The Caesar Salad was decent, the pasta dishes just OK. I thought the pasta dishes were overpriced for what they were. I had the Lobster Ravioli, which missed the mark. It was at a price point of $44. I had bought Lobster Ravioli from Costco which was better , and made it with a little virgin olive oil, and fresh grated cheese. That dish at home cost $5.00 to 6.00. The cocktails were too strong. A well balanced cocktail should not taste of alcohol. The wine was OK. The dessert was decent as was my espresso. The service was warm, attentive, and good. Kudos to Carlos. I was clever in saving money when they served me the bill or check. I quickly purchased two $100 virtual gift cards for $85 each, and each one came with a complimentary $20 gift card to be used in January, February, or March. This quick thinking made our dinner more palatable. Overall, a pleasant experience. Also, did the Galleria Valet Parking for $10 which was right next to the restaurant. Worth it when the Galleria is packed with last minute shoppers.More infoIl Fornaio - RosevillePrice: Moderate• Italian• Roseville•4.7
