- NNancySan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was so much more than the exquisite meal - it was an experience. Callie’s servers are the most knowledgable, best trained, most service oriented team we’ve ever experienced. We had the tasting menu which was EXTRAORDINARY and - for the brave - the delicious Kook Juice from the bar. Our favorite place to dine in San Diego!More infoCallie RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.8
- AAtisNew Orleans / Louisiana •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoStarting with the welcoming greeting at the door, we had a fantastic experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Great team work at delivering food. Everything cooked perfectly. The presentation and taste of the tiramisu was such a treat. The outdoor seating was comfy, with lots of heaters. Dogs welcome and our waiter brought our dog a bowl of water. The music was a touch louder than we’d like, but really not a problem. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return!More infoCesarinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Ocean Beach•4.9
- DDaveSan Diego •38 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a rough start to our dinner... right before we were sat the restaurant's system went down and we had to wait about an hour. The good news was that once it was back up and running, the place had cleared out pretty well and we were sat right away. Allison was our server and she was amazing. The star of the show was Paul, our Chef. An absolute legend of a chef and he made the evening super enjoyable. Allison kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. What started as a rough dinner experience ended up being one of our best Benihana meals ever! Oh, and kudos to the ladies at the host station... they did a great job keeping everyone informed on the progress and handled angry customers well.More infoBenihana - San Diego, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Mission Valley•4

- LLarryVIPSan Diego •106 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe haven't been here in over a year, but it won't be long before we'll be back. The food was a wow which rarely happens in my dining experience. We like to sample a lot of different items, so we spent a lot of time on the "Bites" part of the menu, and it was all fantastic. Each item we had was very well crafted and well executed to deliver some extraordinary flavor combinations. The Oysters, Tostados, Handrolls, and Steak tartar were all highlights and not what you would normally expect for these types of dishes. the Dover Sole was very enjoyable, but it was a special so won't always be there. Not a huge wine list but well covered and you could get many nice wines by the glass that are normally reserved for by the bottle lists. I highly recommend going, we will go back very soon.More infoJuniper & IvyPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Little Italy•4.6
