Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Mendham

Excellent service. Very good gluten sensitive menu. Did not feel rushed. Overall a relaxing evening out.

We never go out for Valentine’s Day but coming off of a month long trip, we decided to head out and we’re thankful that Chef Fredy’s had availability at a reasonable hour. Most of the tables were set for two and so with valentine’s conversation it was louder than expected but we could still hear each other. We ordered off of the special menu and were not disappointed! We had the octopus and clams for appetizers and the shrimp/scallops with pasta and the strip steak (order medium because they tend to come less done than traditional orders)… all was amazing - best we’ve had at any restaurant in awhile! They also added giving out a single red rose to each lady coming in …. Somehow I got missed, which I was a bit annoyed at as I watched every other patron receive one! They did correct this. Regardless, we can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes on the regular menu!

Foods was amazing ! This was our first time at Focacceria and we were not disappointed. I had the black linguine with shrimp and my fiance had the skirt steak and both were amazing. As well as the sweet and spicy Calamari

We went to the Pluckemin Inn for the their Valentine's Day dinner. It was somewhat spur of the moment and we were not terribly excited by the menu. The dining experience, however, was terrific. The food was incredible and far exceeded our expectations. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was subdued and classy. We dine out a lot , and this is one of the best experiences we have had in New Jersey.

Food was excellent and our server was top notch as always. Will continue to recommend to friends because I know it will always be a hit.
