The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. This restaurant is one of my favorites! The food is always exceptional, and the modern, beautifully designed atmosphere makes it such a welcoming place to dine. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, which adds a personal touch to every visit. I’ve eaten here several times, and each experience has been wonderful. While it can get a little loud at times, it’s never taken away from how much I’ve enjoyed being here.

It is a beautiful room and the food was delicious. One of us had the Wellington Meatloaf. It looked so good. Another had the pork chop which was excellent and another had chicken pot pie. I had scallops. All very good. Service was excellent as well.
