Best Restaurants for Birthdays in New Vernon

Overall, quality and quantity was very good. Our reservation was for Noon and had to wait for a few minutes while the table for our party of 6 was getting ready. I did have to then approach the hostess desk to find out if the table was ready for us which we were then seated immediately. The ambiance was nice with many families, the noise levels a bit loud but to be expected for brunch time. Our server was very attentive and friendly! Definitely recommended beautiful location will return for when the weather gets warmer!

The food is always great at Halcyon but sometimes the noise level won't let you think, much less talk to the person you came with. We came late this time and the noise level was a bit better.

Delicious food and amazing desserts. It's our first time here. We loved all the food we ordered especially fritto misto, focaccia, chicken parm, and linguine frutti di mare. The organic chicken parmesan was crispy outside yet so juicy and flavorful inside. The linguine was so tasty that we're all thinking of ordering it again next time. Save room for desserts! Three of us wanted to share a dessert but couldn't decide which one to order. We ended up ordering all three (so glad we did!!): The cheesecake, tiramisu and Panna Cotta. The cheesecake is one of the best we've ever had, tiramisu is rich and iconic, panna cotta is so creamy with a touch of sweetness from the fruit. The ambiance is elegant and welcoming. Good for any occasion from casual dining to date night to formal outing/celebration. The decor is beautiful and romantic. The service is warm, friendly and professional. Make reservations before you go!! We look forward to visiting again to try other menu items. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful ambience with art and color. Food was excellent. Good thing I was with my daughter who knows what to order (she lives in London). Service excellent. Only fault: no menus except online, so you have to use cell phone however small the screen.

Dining at Laboratorio is always a wonderful experience. The food, service, and ambiance are top-notch. It is highly recommended.
