The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration. Overall, our experience at Jeff Ruby's was exceptional, making my birthday dinner truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate in style!More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - LouisvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Downtown Louisville•4.8
- LLoriCentral Kentucky •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was delicious. Mussels and chilled shrimp were so fresh. Husband loved the salmon and literally ate every bite. I had the grouper cheeks with shrimp over risotto. The sauce was amazing and portion larger than expected. My old fashion was made perfectly, and Sam Adam's was available draft. The service really made the night. Waitress was prompt with everything, super friendly- you just know when someone is seasoned in their job. Her recommended dessert was ordered to go & we enjoyed it later that same evening while snug on the couch. Noise level raised a bit here and there but not at all bothersome, especially for a busy Saturday night. Ambiance works for a small group or romantic dinner for 2.More infoRiver House Restaurant & Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Louisville•4.7
- BBruceCentral Kentucky •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe salad, main course, and desert all excellent. I would go back just for the French Toast desert. I had a lobster/pasta main course that was excellent, and the goat cheese salad couldn't be beat. Good service on a very busy Valentine night. Parking is the only problem, so allow a little extra time to find a parking spot on or just off the busy Frankfort Ave., and bring an umbrella if it is raining. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions where budget is not a consideration.More infoVaranesePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.8
- TTracyCentral Kentucky •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The setting was quiet and intimate, and the tables were spread nicely apart. My server Mark was great, not only nice, but also knowledgeable about the menu. It was the first time I’ve ever had my entree served French style, heated table side before plating, ensuring the meal was hot and delicious. When it came to dessert, Mark brought out a tray of dessert and explained each option. It was 10/10 and our meal was less than $150, very fair for a special night out. I left stuffed, happy, and ready to be a repeat customer.More infoVincenzo's Italian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown Louisville•4.8
