- PpatSan Francisco Bay Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEvery time we eat at this restaurant, the food is wonderful. The service is attentive and the ambience is pleasant. We had dinner with long time friends that we haven’t seen in a while and we had a lovely table by the window where we could easily talk since we like to taste a lot of things we had the french fries which are delicious and a special which was a mini crab tostada, which was also yummy we shared the hummus and the pizza and the crème brûlée for dessert. I don’t have anything to say except make a reservation this place rocks!More infoACRE Kitchen and BarPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Oakland•4.6

The waiter recommended an excellent wine pairing as well. The service by far was the absolute best, especially Moises (sp?)! We are both gluten free (allergic), and he provided great recommendations to accommodate us.More infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8

- AAndreaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was hard to decide. All items sounded delicious. I had the ribeye. Cooked just how I prefer, the mashed potatoes were just right, and the asparagus spears were pleasantly tender and juicy! I even had dessert! I never do dessert! Our waitperson Luna was outstanding. I shall return soon!More infoBella SienaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Benicia•4.8
- MMichaelSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was wonderful (as usual) except our server. He wasn't pleasant or friendly. Previous servers knew we were there for our anniversary, said Congratulations, asked how long we've been together, took a picture of us etc. He had no interest in anything except getting our drink and entree order. Not a nice fellow or interested in making us feel welcome. Example; there was no napkin at my place setting and I politely asked for one. He walked by, put one on the table and said "here ya go" and kept moving. I said "thank you" but all I saw was the back of his head moving away. A good server would have offered an apology for the oversight, immediately corrected the mistake and said to the customer thanks for your patience and understanding (or something to that effect). He made me feel like I was bothering him. Contrary to our disengaged waiter there was a busser guy who was awesome! He was open and friendly, joyful, and accommodating. He liked his job and wanted to be helpful. Our actual server, not so much. My wife and I openly wished the busser was our server. If I knew the busser's name, I'd say promote him. The only time our waiter was even remotely kind was when he put the bill on the table. So, when it's time for the tip, guess what? He was very nice! Wow, imagine that...More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
