Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Jacksonville

Loved everything, the service, the food, the decor. Our server was knowledgeable and on top of things. All the items on the menu had a different little spin to it. The vegetables were not just steamed and put on the plate, they were charred with a little spicy crunch of pumpkin seeds. The whiskey cake dessert was out of this world! Portions are ample. Definitely loved it and will go back.

It was very busy and very crowded, but the staff was very patient and very accommodating. We ended up with an extra person and the staff offered to let us sit at another table really working to try to accommodate us and I greatly appreciate that our waiter was very friendly very knowledgeable And we could tell he was very busy. We truly enjoyed ourselves and I know that he helped us. Thank you Fabrizio for making a tough night (we were saying goodbye to our daughter) more bearable.

The food and service were excellent. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and had hoped to eat outside, but felt it was just to chilly, so we sat inside. The boom boom music was so loud it was hard to hear each other talk and the birthday girl was a bit miffed. To create a better dining experience, you might select softer background music. We come to your restaurant for the quality of the food. Upgrading the quality of the music would do a service to people’s digestion as well as make us want to come back sooner. Just sayin’.

My family had a really good experience going here on Christmas. The wait was not too long considering the holiday and our server was absolutely amazing. Even though the kitchen was backed up our server did a fantastic job checking up on us periodically. The food was well worth the wait. For our first time at Joe’s we were very pleased and will be returning.

The Sheppard's pie was great! The flavor is great and the price reasonable.
