Best Comfort Food Restaurants in West Caldwell

This was a very enjoyable dining experience. My only disappointment was that there were not more gluten-free menu items. There is no notation on the menu for gluten, dairy, soy, or nut products. There is only a notation for vegetarian. I was unable to predict what I would be able to eat at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there were only two items I could choose from. The entrée I chose was the vegan version of Lentejas con Chorizo (without the chorizo which was not gluten free). Fortunately it was delicious!

Food, service, attention to detail was amazing the menu is accompanied by a lot of specials which were so amazing. The place is byob so be prepared and adds to the cost savings of the event. Jose took care of us like we were family and we will be back soon. Thank you Jose!!

Sugar Bar is a vibe!! I drove from Baltimore to visit. The hospitality, food, ambiance and bartender Terrell all top notch. Thursdays entertainment is worth the drive. One thing we did have a comment on is the cover charge for the upstairs. You watch the entertainment on a tv. We got paying the cover charge for the main room. My thoughts were the cover charge is for the host possibly. Either way, it is so worth visiting!!! We had an amazing time.
