Best Date Night Restaurants in South Elgin

One of my favorite restaurants! Food is excellent- especially the Pollo Milanese and the salad Francesca. Very attentive service - maybe a bit too much as several people wanted to clear plates when we were still slowly eating from them.

Every time we enjoy a meal at Balmoral, we are impressed. Love everything from the giant drink menu, to delicious food, to amazing service, to our bagpiper greeting! We were so happy to see so many guests tonight.

Really nice ambiance, if a party of 1 or 2 request a sofa seat. It's in a separate room and more quiet. The service was excellent, everything came incredibly fast. We shared the pepperoni flatbread, but the charcuterie board looked amazing. The gnocchi in vodka sauce was good, as were the mini cannolis. We went before a concert, but would go just for a meal, drinks and appetizers, or dessert. There is a cover charge if there is entertainment, but not if you go earlier.

Excellent food and service. It was Christmas Eve and we were not rushed at all.
