Best Date Night Restaurants in Gosport

As always, super food, excellent service and great ambience. Love this branch of The Ivy, visit as often as possible and have recommended lots of friends!

Staff were very good - our server paid particular attention to my fussy eater Grandson to make sure he was enjoying his food and offering him alternatives. Food was great and we all enjoyed it. Perhaps add a dessert that’s dairy free - the polenta cake was a bit grainy!

This is the second time at Kara for us, but this time it was for a family gathering, and yet again it was great. The shorter fixed priced lunch time menu choice was superb, great value and the food outstanding.

We had an area booked for drinks for my cousin’s 50th birthday. They let me bring a huge ballon etc that they set up for our arrival. I don’t live in the area but if I did, I’d definitely drink there, it’s my kind of place! Brilliant music, good atmosphere, enjoyed it. Drinks weren’t overly cheap but they aren’t anywhere are they?! Really good night.

The Ivy has a lovely atmosphere with helpful staff. We were unfortunate enough to sit next to a team out on their Christmas work-do. They were very loud, they had no inhibitions, nor awareness, nor consideration for other diners.
