- RrobertVIPLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoBooked Dinner during an overnight stop on Edinburgh on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was quiet as it was January. Service was perfect with right level of friendliness & enthusiasm. We chose the haggis spring rolls & beetroot salad followed by 2 venison haunches. all were delicious with the beetroot salad possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. Venison could have been a tiny bit pinker for our liking but nothing to put us off enjoying it. Portions were very generous. Would certainly return when next in the city.More infoMerchantsPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Old Town•4.7
- JJosephEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have visited White Horse previously & again the food was superb, the staff Hubert & Ben were fantastic & couldn’t do enough for us, we even discussed the music which was much to our liking, as the temperature outside was bellow freezing, perhaps the restaurant could have been warmer. We don’t stay local to White Horse, however, we will be returning as soon as we can, we will also recommend the restaurant to our friends when they visit Edinburgh. - AAngelaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food was great the haggis bonbons are a must . I had sea trout and it was wonderful . My friends had sirloin and ribeye steak and both said it was the best they have had. Don’t be fooled with the small plates , we all have healthy appetites but after sharing the small plates to start and then the larger main plates it was an early night for us. The service was helpful and friendly and we even had a birthday candle when I let them know it was my friends birthday . Many thanks and well done to the whole team, I will definitely return next time I visit your beautiful city.More infoAngels with BagpipesPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Old Town•4.6
