Best Restaurants for Foodies in Closter

Restaurant was beautiful. Service was impeccable. Food (from appetizer to dessert) was outstanding. Reservation is very difficult to get, but definitely worth the wait.

Anthony our pasta instructor was awesome! He kept the class fun and engaging. We had a great time learning to make the pasta. After the class, we had dinner and the food was amazing as well. I highly recommend this experience!

The food was fabulous. Our server was excellent and truly made delicious recommendations. Where the mood went south was that shortly after we paid the bill and lingered in conversation enjoying the last bit of the evening with friends who we hadn’t seen in months, the hostess came to us and said she wanted to let us know she will need the table in 10 minutes. It was late Sunday night, obviously no other seatings/reservations coming, 4 other empty tables available to seat guests. No one was waiting anywhere to be seated. I completely understand that had it been earlier as the place was packed, but the night was winding down and all the tables seated were most certainly the last of the evening reservations including us. The shift in the enjoyment and mood of the evening was palpable. Not cool.

A great experience. A little loud. Next time I will ask to sit in the main dining room not bar. Service was excellent. Food too was excellent. It was my husband’s 80th birthday and my children suggested we try olar. The entire evening was great.

We always enjoy Axia. The zucchini chips as a shared starter is first rate. There's one vegan option, which is a good idea as my wife is vegan. Their pastitsio is served en croute. Only issue tonight was restaurant was full (good for the owner) but service was a tad slower than usual.
