Girardi’s Osteria is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. It opened in 1999 and has been an Edmonds landmark ever since. Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.

Girardi's was a great place to go to for early Christmas Eve dinner with my sister. The food was wonderful, the music/ambience was great, and the service (kudos to Stephanie!) was first rate! Thank you for a great experience!
