- MMariféVIPLos Angeles •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBloom is located directly across the street from the Mission San Juan Capistrano and was a convenient choice to dine at before Capistrano Nights. However, their flavorful food and attention to detail ended up being a much welcomed surprise. With so many restaurants to choose from within the block, they definitely stand out on service and professionalism alone. I will definitely be back.More infoBloom Restaurant + BarPrice: Moderate• American• San Juan Capistrano•4.8

With friend in town for the holiday we wanted to do something festive for late afternoon drinks and then an early dinner. Service was outstanding - starting with sitting at the PCH side bar where our original bartender is still serving up perfect jalapeño margaritas — to the hostess who easily accommodated our request for table in that area for dinner — and then the food stoke the show. Queso fundido was terrific, Pork Verde and the Salmon dishes were ‘off the charts’ and the chicken Enchiladas and Crispy Tacos were perfect. Javier’s ALWAYS lives up to it’s reputation. We’ll be back again & again!More infoJavier's Crystal CovePrice: Expensive• Mexican• Newport Beach•4.7

- HHannaLos Angeles •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFood was great as usual. Shared the pate, which was very good. Plenty of pate, grilled whole grain bread, variety of fruits, pickled red onion, pickled green onion slices(first time having this-it was slightly sweet & tasty), & jam. For my entree,I ordered my usual Gorgonzola & Granny Smith apple with grilled chicken. MUCH better than my last visit. My only complaint last visit was the lone thin slice of apple. That’s correct. ONE slice of apple. Perhaps the kitchen supervisor was new(?). Anyway, the salad was great. My friend had the rare grilled tuna sandwich. VERY good. My last visit, my MIL had the same & was also very pleased with her choice. We will continue to be regular patrons. The food & service are great. The brief tour of the garden/nursery is a nice distraction from LA traffic & the hustle of city life.More infoFarmhouse at Rogers GardensPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8
- DDavidOrange County •10 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our first time eating here. I had been at this location when it used to be Scott's Seafood. It has been renovated and the food is much better to my liking. It's all about the seafood, although they have beef too. We ordered 3 entrees... Sable fish in a spicy broth with thin soba noodles. The fish was a large portion and thick too. Scampi with parpadelle pasta. Wow, the shrimp were large and the pasta is one on my favorites with the sauces soaking all the flavors into the pasta. Cioppino was my favorite. It had prawns, salmon, white fish, calamari, clams, mussels all in the most favorable warm broth. We brought a bottle of champagne with us and they don't charge a corkage fee. Wow, can't wait to return again. The service was spot on. Our server was attentive and personable.
