Our second time at Providence. The menu is set with 8 courses I think it was, and you can add on to that. It’s a lot of food, you really don’t need to add anything or you will be too full to finish dessert. Most the courses were amazing, but a few fell flat. Including the main entree which you have a choice of. I choose the monkfish. It was nothing special sadly. Great flavors, but nothing pushed the envelope, which makes it more palatable for the general diner. We chose the premium wine tasting. It’s a lot of wine so I’m glad we only did one pairing and shared. I wanted to love all the wine pairings but to be honest about half of them we did not care for. Next time I would skip the pairing and just order a couple of glasses of wine I know I like. And finally we were seated in an unfortunate spot, maybe bc we booked through OpenTable instead of calling in reservation? But we were right next to drink station and waiter computer station. So busy spot for workers which takes away from the ambience. Next time I’ll be more specific about where I’d like to be seated. The small area behind the bar looked fun, I’d request that.

Amazing time. I say this as a foodie from nyc (you know how those New Yorkers are). Service was outstanding. The dates were perfection. The steak was perfect. The prawns were the only thing I was annoyed at because they did not De-vain the shrimp. Other than that. Great place.

What a great way to take advantage of a beautiful LA day! Had brunch here and absolutely loved the outdoor venue and walking around seeing all the art. Had never really been to this part of LA and I was certainly missing out. Such a great vibe. Originally from the south I’m pretty critical when it comes to southern food but the beignets and cornbread were spot on. So yummy! Everyone at our table loved the shrimp and grits…just meh. The sides were true stand outs and the blistered snap peas were delicious. The popover Benedict was unique and the market salad had such unexpected ingredients. We loved them all and will definitely be back. And don’t forget the fun cocktails, and yummy desserts . Service was great as well!
