We went for several appetizers including the garlic ribs (never had before), soup dumplings, spring rolls and pork fried rice. All were outstanding with particular praise for the ribs....so interestingly great! We ended our meal with half a peking duck. Plenty of pancakes and ample cucumber and scallion. We washed it down with a bottle of champagne and cannot say enough about this establishment. We would highly recommend for a formal, casual, family meal. Having lived in the UK for over 40 years this place has great food!!! It is hard to beat London Chinese but this will not disappoint!More infoJacky's Waterplace Restaurant (Downtown, Providence)Price: Moderate• Contemporary Asian• Providence•4.6

Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.More infoHemenway'sPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Providence•4.9

From the handwritten card on our table when we arrived, to the complimentary Champagne toast, there were no details that were not perfect. The service was exceptional by all staff members, and the 5 course menu with wine paring was incredible. We cannot wait to go back.More infoGracie'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.9
