- AAnthonyCleveland / Akron / Canton •6 reviews5.0Dined todayTried an assortment across the menu. The short ribbon dumplings and fish stew were magnificent. Everything else was delicious. Only little downside...we were seated in a small room with 3 or 4 other tables. Took away a bit from ambience of being out in an energetic place. But that is a small thing.More infoDuck Duck GoatPrice: Expensive• Chinese• West Loop•4.8

- MMargieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoRestaurant Review: The Girl and The Goat The Girl and The Goat continues to solidify its reputation as one of Chicago’s must-visit dining destinations. With a focus on bold flavors and a playful approach to globally inspired dishes, this restaurant delivers a truly memorable experience. Highlights: •Bread and Pimento: This dish is deceptively simple but executed to perfection. The warm, freshly baked bread pairs beautifully with the creamy, smoky pimento spread. It’s the kind of starter that sets the tone for an indulgent meal, leaving you reaching for seconds (or thirds). •Empanadas: Bursting with flavor, these are a standout. The flaky, golden crust envelops a perfectly seasoned filling that balances savory richness with a touch of spice. Each bite feels like a small, delicious adventure. Drinks to Complement Your Meal: While The Girl and The Goat boasts a full bar menu offering craft cocktails, wines, and beers to suit any palate, the non-alcoholic options are equally impressive. The menu features thoughtfully crafted mocktails, infused with fresh herbs, seasonal fruits, and house-made syrups. Standouts include a refreshing citrus-and-mint blend and a rich hibiscus and ginger cooler, each perfectly balanced to enhance the meal without overpowering the flavors of the food. Dessert Note: •Chocolate and Peanut Butter Dessert: A decadent and satisfying way to end your meal. The harmony of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate creates a nostalgic yet elevated experience. The textures—silky, crunchy, and smooth—make this dessert unforgettable. The Girl and The Goat’s ability to innovate while staying approachable is what makes it a perennial favorite. From small plates to desserts, and a drink menu that caters to every guest, every dish tells a story worth savoring.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- SSharonChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was the best meal I have had in a long time. From the moment we were greeted upstairs to the moment we left, we felt special. We did the tasting menu and I cannot tell you what my favorite was because everything was delicious. Adrien, our server was fantastic, informed, but never hovering. They seated us in a comfortable place and as a wheelchair user, I really appreciate it. The chef chatted with us as we are and again, made us feel special. As who Covid took the joy of food away from for almost a year, it was wonderful to experience it again here. I don't want to go into detail in on the food to avoid ruining the surprises, but try the Cotton Candy Fois Grois and you can thank me later. I cannot wait to go back again, this place deserves every Michelen Star and James Beard award out there.More infoBazaar Meat ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.7
