Best Restaurants for Foodies in Bayshore Gardens

Our server must of have had too many tables. We did not receive the exceptional service that we have experienced in the past. The food as always was exceptional, worth every penny spent on the marvelous steak. The piano music was so loud that we could not have conversation at the table. I realize that it is Christmas party season so that accounts for a bit of noise in the restaurant. We will be back again after the holiday season when we know that service will be back to the exceptional standard of Micheals on East

Traverna Toscana Finally, an upscale restaurant bringing a touch of class to downtown Bradenton! My wife and I decided to venture out last Friday night to try the newly opened Traverna Toscana, and it did not disappoint. The executive chef’s carefully curated menu was impressive, with the octopus standing out as our favorite dish of the evening. My wife, who rarely tries such cuisine, was pleasantly astonished by how delicious it was. The complementary lemon butter sauce? Simply unbelievable—so good! There are several other enticing items on the menu that have us eager to return. The main course was equally well-prepared and enjoyable. I opted for the 33-day-aged ribeye, which featured the perfect balance of a beautifully seared crust and a juicy, flavorful center. Cooked to perfection, it was a highlight of the night. To accompany our meal, we chose the 2021 Jayson Pahlmeyer Napa red. While the wine was delicious, it felt slightly overpriced—perhaps the Caymus would have been a better value. We ended the night with a lemon cheesecake, and all I can say is: WOW! If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience in Bradenton, I highly recommend trying Traverna Toscana. This gem is sure to impress!

We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The atmosphere (sat outside) was perfect, the service…. Perfect and the food outstanding! I have to mention that the pace in which our orders were delivered was spot on. We started with the appetizers Parmesan Beignets and Pickled lemon shrimp followed by our entrees of the Akaroa salmon with green goddess Tokyo turnip, butternut squash , smoked garlic whipped cream cheese, topped with a rye crunch and Braised beef, mushroom, Swiss chard , ricotta, rosemary bread crumbs,with pappardelle topped with Parmesan. Desert was Brown butter white chocolate brownie with maple apple cider caramel vanilla bean ice cream with apple chips. Just a perfect perfect evening. We will return. Excellent tasting menu. Creative dishes and nice service in an unusual setting. Certainly worthy of any foodie’s attention.
