A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark.     The entire night was fantastic. The food was delicious - the quality you get for the price is amazing but what truly made the night so great was the staff. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. They made me feel at ease and made the entire place such a lovely environment. I didnt get the name of my server specifically but she was outstanding . Will definitely be returning

    Overall, a good experience. Few of the tables were very loud which was distracting (not the venues fault!), starters were very average (scallop's were 'on the turn' but well presented, French toast was under seasoned and overall underwhelming as a dish) but the steaks were EXCELLENT - one ribeye and one sirloin, both cooked to perfection. Easily the best steaks we have had in the local area for a very long time. Took advantage of the 'steak Tuesday' offer and would consider coming back for the Monday Cote de Boeuf offer in future if it is the same chef as cooked our steaks, and if the chips were left in the fryer for a couple more minutes.
