Service was great, food was tasty & perfectly prepared and the ambience couldn’t be better for this time of the year.

Strip steak was excellent, but it should be for the price and the portion size. There is no more complementary bread basket – you need to pay $16 for Parker house rolls dessert which was the apple cobbler was missing the whipped cream.

An outstanding experience. I have been going there for years, and every year celebrate my birthday there. The atmosphere is restful and comforting, the staff a pleasure and the restaurant outstanding. I love the bar.

We always enjoy dining at The Clinton House. Last night I felt my lobster BLT was a bit tough and the brioche bun was a little too toasted. The house chips were OK but dry. My husband had the stuffed chicken and wild rice with carrots. I just won't order that dish again. The service was good and ambiance was lovely. The carrot cake for dessert was yummy.

Food was top notch, as always. There were 11 of us, everyone had something different and not one person complained. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, no one wanted for anything. Before we could ask for anything one of the waitstaff was already walking up to the table with it. The Spain Inn 2 is a hidden roadside Hunterdon county gem!!
