Best Restaurants for Groups in Elk Grove Village

We took our 7, 5 and 1-year old grandchildren and they loved the food and the cooking. My 5-year old thought the fire before the volcano was a little scary but she liked everything else. My 7-year old particularly liked the noodles and the rice.

Food was good and service was okay but the “meat crew” was not at all engaging. They just walked up, slices, walked away; never really saying a word. That’s a missed opportunity to make it a really enjoyable experience. I also felt like the price was a bit high for the Christmas dinner service. There was something strange going on with the lighting where it would get slightly brighter for a few minutes and slightly dimmer and this continued for a good 30 minutes until the turned down the lights and lit some candles. Strange. Finally, the door in the ladies room sounded like it was going to fall off when opening. Would I dine there again? Probably, but this is just to document the overall experience for others.

Great food, incredible service. Our table was close to the service station so lots of plates clanking, but not anyone at the restaurants fault for that. Just if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere maybe be asked to be seated away from the kitchen

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was a lovely afternoon. The servers were quick with anything we needed and were always friendly. They were also helpful - my husband asked for Turkish coffee and the server responded that black coffee was included but there would be an extra charge for Turkish. Totally reasonable and I appreciated not getting a surprise added charge later. The food was solid, especially the cold apps/salads, cig kofte, lentil soup, bread basket, and the two meats made from ground meat. It's tough to prepare food for such a large group, so not surprising that the chicken kebabs were drier than I'd like. I was sad not to see any lamachun available, as it was listed. But that's okay as that's also something that's better when it's piping hot. At no point did anyone indicate that they needed our table, which can be a concern both at buffets and on holidays. We were able to relax between courses and enjoy the holiday as a family. I'd happily return!
