Best Restaurants for Groups in Swindon

We have visited The Bell at Purton Stoke a total of three times now. It has quickly become one of our favourite places to eat. The food was superb and cooked to perfection as always, and also presented really well. The staff are all friendly, welcoming, polite and good at their jobs. We will continue to visit and recommend to everyone. We always enjoy eating here.

Food excellent Was not able to book table at preferred time and on arrival the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full. Attended for a birthday lunch and stated so on booking but this was never mentioned or acknowledged by staff. A nice “welcome I understand you celebrating a birthday” would have made my dad’s day. Very pleasant staff and lovely setting with spotless toilets. Slow drinks from order to arrival and ice added to a pint of cider which was strange! Steaks ordered but only after we had started eating were steak knives supplied. The food was lovely but attention to detail on service disappointing.

Probably one of the best meals we’ve ever had, impeccable service, amazing food and the most beautiful restraunt.
