- DDarylNew York City •14 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoAfter driving an hour to meet friends we checked in one HOUR early (7) before our reservation to enjoy time with our party of 4. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM. Enjoyed mocktails, wine, and appetizers at the main bar. 8:00 we went to the desk and they said they’d check on our table. I reminded them we were at the main bar. Back 15 minutes later to the desk and was told they were still checking on a table in the Speakeasy. But we could go downstairs to wait. It was after 8:30 that we finally got seated. Service was pleasant but slow. Didn’t love the sea bass dish small portion. Steaks were good. Manager gave dessert on the house due to the wait. Which wait? Dinner took 2.5 hours and disappointed to be seated by the bathroom at an awkward table with wavy couch. A good night with friends but annoyed with the amount of $$$ spent on a place that didn’t deliver as we’d expected.More infoRails SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Montville•4.7

- DDeniseNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI took my daughter to The Palm Court at The Plaza for Afternoon Tea for her 12th birthday (first time for both of us) and we had an absolutely wonderful time. We both had the “Central Park” and we loved it. The ambiance, service, attentiveness to my daughter’s peanut allergy…EVERYTHING was just perfect. Special thanks to Vincent and Mary and everyone who stopped by to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday. It was a truly memorable day and we can’t wait to visit again!More infoThe Palm Court at The Plaza HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.4
- RRobbieMobile •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were visiting New York on a quick business trip and wanted an authentic Italian meal while in town. A friend that had lived in New York year’s ago recommended Carmine’s. She went to the original restaurant back then. We took a chance and fell in love with the atmosphere, service, and just amazing quality of food. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional Italian restaurant that serves you like you are family!More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
- MMaryNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur first time there and everyone, including the owners, where very accommodating and kept checking in with tables and bar customers to see if they needed anything and where satisfied. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. Love the half-moon booths for couples. The food is plentiful and delicious. Only complaint was that the appetizer we ordered came with a sauce and it was too small a portion for the amount of veggies for that dish. Our waiter Alex was nice but not very attentive - the bus staff was much more attentive and helpful. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they bought over dessert with a candle and provided it on the house. We wish them much success and hope they last because we like to din at classy comfortable upscale restaurants. Thank you Barbara and Pete for caring about our dining experience! All the best!More infoNaxos EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Greek• Little Falls•4.7
