- WWilliamNorthwest Florida •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe server Sloan was amazing . It was his birthday and he suggested a sandwich which was a special boneless rib with white and normal bbq sauce. Everyone was super happy with their food.More infoThe Union Public HousePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Pensacola•4.8
- SSherylVIPSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe service was amazing and for the most part all of the food was delicious. Surprisingly, the gumbo was not great considering the restaurant has Louisiana in the name.More infoLouisiana Lagniappe - Orange BeachPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Orange Beach•4.8
- MMoAlabama •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI live in the area in the grand Marlin is by far of my favorite restaurant! The service, ambiance, drinks and food are always top-notch! It was a little loud in the corner in the room overlooking the water due to fans going, but we survived!More infoThe Grand Marlin of Pensacola BeachPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Pensacola•4.8
- CChrisOrlando / Central Florida East •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI was promptly seated, yet was at my table about 8 mins before my server appeared, and only after I asked the bus boy if he could point out my server. Once the server got to my table, the rest of the service was fine. This is my 2nd Christmas to eat at Salt, and I, once again, was pleased. The charcuterie is superb, kudos to the tapenade! For my entree is got the prime rib, rare. The meat could have been more flavorful, and adding a bit of salt helped. The horseradish sauce was flavorful and fluffy (whipped?) and also very watery. The peel-em shrimp were quite tasty, plump, not over cooked, and the cocktail sauce was spot on. The sides were super - I loved the cornbread dressing with pork and sage. Excellent. I also enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. (I didn’t try the carrots or green bean casserole, nor the salad selections.) The croutons here are some of the best, house made, flavorful, not crazy-hard but light. I skipped dessert, opting for more shrimp. My drink was consistently refilled, and the waiter was not fussy. Another fine experience at Salt.More infoSALTPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Pensacola Beach•4.4
- MMarkAlabama •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024Fantastic dining across all culinary areas. Our waiter explained the menu in detail to include information outside the menu applicable to our meal. Chef’s attention to detail, creativity, and taste were impeccable! The chef also took time to visit our table asking for our feedback and offering a test dessert for the upcoming holiday. Lastly, the flavors and taste of each aspect of our meal courses were exquisite! The wagyu beef was sensational, cooked perfectly with its heavy fatty-meat transition. Very tasty flavor hints within the fluffed garnish greens and overlapping the avocado slices in the lobster-shrimp salad were a very nice touch! The Bonsai is a unique high-end Japanese sushi restaurant that caters to a niche palate and wallet. I highly recommend Bonsai to visitors of Pensacola and the beach looking for a unique classy flavorful dining venue!More infoBonsaiPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Pensacola•4.8
