Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Greeted warmly loved that we were seated in the main dining hall. I loved that I was able to people watch! Many guests came for a buffet and were disappointed! But the atmosphere and Indias smile were so engaging that she made up for the lack of buffet

Fantastic drinks and cocktails. Love the atmosphere on the bar side. The food is usually amazing - fried pickles were less crunchy than usual and the chicken sandwich was good- but not as outstanding as usual. Overall love the place. Hoping it was just an off day.

Soba lounge is excellent. We had two apps, three different entrees and 2 desserts and each was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. I recommend the rare tuna entree, the mushrooms on the appetizers - and the chocolate maki.

My wife loved her scallops. The salmon was very creative and delicious. Potato soup was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. They made sure we had time to get to our show. Would definitely recommend this establishment 👍👍
