Best Restaurants for Groups in San Mateo

It was raining. A manager meet us with umbrellas outside One friend was ushered in as she was using a walker and I used the other brought out to me to help the other 88 year old friend. We were ushered to the table chairs were pulled out for us to be seated!! Never have I felt so cared about. The hospitality was amazing! There is a tranquility and peace in the eloquent but casual environment overlooking the harbor and water On one wall separating the bar from the dining area is a huge aquarium where jellyfish float aimlessly The food served for lunch was excellent ! Wonderful server. The ceasar salad had a good authentic dressing on it - they split it for us. Skirt steak was good, wish they gave more mashed potatoes with it. Will definitely go back.

The Murgh Makani and the Lamb Korma were the highlights of the meal. The sauce was buttery and creamy with select pieces of Chicken and Lamb. The entire staff were outstanding and service was friendly and very efficient. Everyone helped serve each course or drink including the bartender, maitre d, cook, etc. I’ll be returning here regularly.

Love Love Love Angelica’s It is my first pick for a luncheon date dinner date brunch date! Fabulous menu and wonderful servers! I highly recommend Angelica’s and hope your experience is as fabulous as all of mine have been!

Came for dinner with my family. We’re Japanese and my sons love and miss Japanese style bbq. The taste,ambience, services are same mostly.
