Best Restaurants for People Watching in Bloor West Village

I had a wonderful dinner date at Bar Vendetta last night. The service was excellent—the staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. Our food arrived at the perfect pace, allowing us to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. Although we didn’t get to try the cocktails, the pasta and small plates were outstanding, with just the right balance of flavors and seasoning. The ambiance was fantastic—from the beautifully decorated walls to the cozy seating, every detail added to the experience. The only thing that could be improved is the music selection, which didn’t quite enhance the atmosphere as much as it could. A more curated playlist could elevate the mood even further. Overall, it's a great spot for a date or a night out, and I’d definitely come back!

ONE Restaurant in Yorkville exceeded my expectations with its perfect mix of ambiance and flavor. The stylish decor and cozy patio set the stage for an unforgettable meal, highlighted by the rich, buttery lobster spoons and crispy truffle Parmesan fries—an absolute must-try!

The food is phenomenal. Highly recommend lobster pasta and short ribs though main courses are on the slow side. Service can use some improvements. Given the price we are paying, I assume the waiter would pack the takeout for us but No. even seeing we were struggling with the box, she didn’t offer any help.
