Best Restaurants for People Watching in Lakeshore East

I have been going to RL since they first opened. Always lovely, comfortable, clubby, excellent. It is a joy to be there. It is hard not to have the Dover sole. My favorite. And tonight. Joseph was our waiter. He was superb. Attentive but not too much. Classy. Friendly. But not too much. Works on the west side of the restaurant. I would ask for him. Can’t wait to go back.

The food at The Evie was by far the most delicious I've ever had! Everything was outstanding, fresh, and hot! The freshly baked bread was unbelievably good. The smokey carrots were to die for. The whitefish was great. The Signature Prime Rib sandwich just melts in your mouth. The crab cake was so light and full of seafood and the Millionaire ice cream was so uniquely delicious! I can't wait to come back for more! The Evie is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants! I adore the location, too.

This was my first time dining at RPM and it will not be my last!! The food, the service, the ambiance, all 10s!!!! But the food!!! OMG! What I like about this outstanding restaurant is they give you good portions of absolutely delicious food! And an elegant, first class dining ambiance with VIP service. I think my server’s name was Matty. Good date place, great place to dine w friends or a special occasion. Highly recommend! My only big complaint….the bar area was filled with gorgeous women!!! NEED MORE MEN PLEASE!! @RPM how about adding a cigar bar to attract the fellas??

Best clam chowder anywhere! Crab cake appetizer was all crab, no filler and tasty. Came with salad so was quite filling as my main course. The stuffies were delicious-2 in the order and a unique northeastern treat. Others in my party commented on size of Cesar and house salads-big enough to share. They loved the cod and halibut. I love the location on the river. A great addition to Chicago.

But pricey but the location is def worth it. Great beers, ok food
