Housed in the historic 8th St Marketplace, Solid Grill & Bar, focuses on local food, local beer & local wines. We feature eleven local beers on tap; a selection that changes based on the availability of the best offerings from the local brewers. The food is both classic and daring. The menu is wide enough to please any guest while narrow enough to ensure quality and freshness. Vaulted ceilings, brick arches, natural wood, and warm tones make Solid Grill and Bar the perfect dining getaway. The walls are decked with local art that has a distinctly Boise theme.     We love going to Chandler's. Our service was exceptional! I think our server's name was Aurora (or something very similar) she was very attentive and knew the menu so well, explained the food in great, descriptive, detail. She spoiled us for my husband's birthday. The food is exquisite each time we go!

    Our waiter, Hamid, was just delightful! So patient, kind and made all of our party feel so welcomed and valued. The Macadamia Nut Chicken and potatoes are SO DELICIOUS! Our group of 6 shared a huge piece of Carrot Cake after dinner. It is "The Very Best" carrot cake any of us have ever had in our lives! OMG! You must try it! If you like carrot cake, this will give your taste buds such a treat and t is made in house, at Kona Grill, too! We enjoyed our visit to "The Village" in Meridian, Idaho and will look forward on returning to eat at The Kona Grill, next time we are in town!
