- CCathyWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis lovely restaurant has wonderful food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance. I love a menu that includes many things I'd like to order. Last night it was a toss-up between the grilled halibut and braised short ribs. My friend ordered the halibut and enjoyed every bite. I chose the short ribs and was in heaven with my selection. We lingered over dinner and never felt rushed. The server did, however, check on us periodically to see if we needed anything. Delicious creme brulee topped off the evening. I can't wait to go back!More infoPersimmonPrice: Moderate• American• Bethesda•4.8
- AAlanVIPWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe recently dined at La Piquette and had a great experience. Our party of four was celebrating an anniversary and a birthday, and the afternoon couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, intimate setting created the ideal atmosphere for our special celebrations. We skipped the appetizers and ordered our entrees, which included Prime Beef Steak and Frites, Lobster Risotto, Halibut, and Sautéed Fresh NC Shrimp. Each dish was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It was evident that the chefs put a lot of passion and creativity into their culinary creations. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was right. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, adding a personal touch to our celebrations. And don’t overlook their desserts! They were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The sweet treats were as delightful and creative as the main courses, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Overall, La Piquette exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The only thing that would make me hesitant to return again would be the 2+ hour ride up I95. No, on second thought, not even that would keep us from being repeat customers.More infoLa PiquettePrice: Expensive• French• Cleveland Park•4.8
- CChristineVIPSouth Carolina •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBistrot Lepic is a wonderful French restaurant worthy of a special occasion or just a night away from home cooking. We enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s dinner at Bistrot Lepic. The special Valentine’s Day set menu had options to suit all tastes. The lamb and beef plats principaux we ordered were cooked to perfection. Entrees and the special dessert were equally delicious. The wine list includes excellent affordable options. Bon appetit!More infoBistrot Lepic & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• French• Georgetown•4.8
