Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Desert Ridge

This was our first dining experience since they moved to this inviting and accessible location. The intimacy of the candle lit restaurant with white table cloths and black napkins, contributed to the personal and attentive service. The owner offered in great detail a description of items on and off menu, so that our order was individually suited to us…as if we were in our own Nona’s kitchen. Even the wines were aptly described for optimal selection. We tried four 1/2 order pastas: pesto, aglio e olio, vongole bianco, and mushroom ravioli. All were delicious and will be ordered again (save for the mushroom ravioli which although flavorful, was a bit hard shelled for my taste). The Veal Milanese was also prepared to perfection. The Ceasar salad was cold and crisp with yummy baked croutons—but will ask for lightly dressed next time. We will definitely be back to our new Neighborhood favorite!
