Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Noe Valley

Always love Mr. Tipple’s. The atmosphere, music, food, and people always make it a good time.

We reserved table for two and had hamachi sashimi, prawns ravioli, salmon carpaccio, lamb burger and fettuccine with spicy fish stew and vanilla and pistachio gelato for dessert. Good ambience. Nice bar area. It was packed when around 7:30pm. Everything was delicious and spaced out well. They have interesting cocktails. I had return of the sumac and it went really well with the food we selected. I would love to see better selection of desserts. It’s a small place so the tables are in tight spaces. Definitely a place we will come back to.

Our server was amazing. He was so attentive and took good care and kept checking in.

The endive Cesar salad and the chicken pot pie were excellent. As always, our cocktails were fabulous. We had a garden gimlet which is with cucumber & mint as well as a shiso sour that actually is served with the shiso leaf! During the busy dinner hours 6-8pm just note that it's quite energetic and loud inside. They do offer n outside dining though.
