Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Wakefield

This wonderful gem EXCEEDED our expectations! My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in the north end every year and like to try a new restaurant every time- this place was phenomenal- every single bite was excellent from the starter arugula salad to the veal Marsala which was impeccably seasoned and incredibly tender to the flourless chocolate cake which was oh so fudgy and decadent- the owner/chef came to our table to make sure everything was great (to me this is a staple for a well run restaurant). We were beyond impressed with the wait staff as well- never needed for anything. It will be hard to try a new restaurant next year as this one leaves some really big shoes to fill! Thank you Tresca for a night and a meal to remember!

The service was very nice ! I requested to do something special while making the reservation and I mentioned " birthday". I wasn't expecting anything but they arranged a beautiful dessert with a candle on top and brought it to our table! That was a nice gesture!!

This dinning experience was extra great! I want a shout out to Liz she was so very helpful and called me at home to help me get a reservation for Christmas Eve she was so great! A true professional who went away beyond I so appreciate her kindness! Such a wonderful place! We will be back next year we all drove 2 hours to dine with our Massachusetts family.thank you Cafe Escadrille you have not only lived up to the hype you surpassed it by a lot!!!!

Loved it there! So cute and cozy for a little last minute Christmas dinner with friends. The food, wine and service were incredible. Will definitely come back and will be a favorite of ours. A good go to spot if you want to get off Hanover Street.
