The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a long time. The staff were attentive, the dishes were so tasty and fresh. The menu offered a variety of classic curry's, traditional dishes and chef specials. We also popped outside as we were intrigued by the huge outdoor area at the back, I look forward to dining in the summer! They didn't have any cocktails available but a wide selection of wines and spirits.
