Best quality meats hand carved off the bone, award winning steak and delicious seasonal dishes cater for discerning customers. All polished off with a British cheese board and sticky puds. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.Bookings and Walk-Ins available:Monday - Friday 12:00 - 15:00pmMonday - Friday 17:00 - 22:30pmBookings up to 8 guests (Mon-Thurs)Bookings up to 6 guests (Friday)Saturday: 12:00 - 23:00Bookings for lunch and pre-theatre from 12noon to 23:00Bookings up to 6 guestsSunday 12:00 - 20:00Bookings all day for up to 6 guests

The staff and service are always good at Brix and this visit was no different. Tis is my first roast in a while there were no complaints apart from the "burnt" cauliflower cheese...not sure if this was on purpose but I would amend the menu if it is. Cocktail were great as usual. Highly recommended and ill be back soon

Delicious authentic Italian food. Lovely surprise, enjoyed more than expected from the unassuming exterior. Wine was also beautiful. A little on pricey side but for the quality decent value for quality of food, drink and service.

the menu is very odd... not even close to being vegan (they have burgers and other meat dishes) their only 'cheese' is vegan. at lunch, their salads have a really strange combo of ingredients, (like sauerkraut) and, also oddly, have no sandwiches... it is a casual place with a limited menu (most of the same ingredients appear in various dishes) ... offering better options that are easy to prepare would make some sense. on the bright side, outdoor seating option right behind the tate modern is xlnt... and why i booked it!
